Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character:

One Tail Kyuubi NarutoSuccessfully complete Story mode on the Difficult setting.
KabutoBe victorious in 15 battles in Survival mode.
True Form SasoriSuccessfully complete Sidequest 2.
Legendary SanninBe victorious in 15 battles in Survival mode.
Four Tail Kyuubi NarutoSuccessfully complete all 30 floors in Exploration mode with all 10 characters on the Normal difficulty.
TsunadeSuccessfully complete Story mode.
Hoshigaki KisameSuccessfully complete Sidequest 1.
JiraiyaSuccessfully complete Story mode.
DeidaraSuccessfully complete Sidequest 2.
Non-Shippuden CharactersBe victorious in 15 battles in Survival mode on the Difficult setting.
Sasuke (S)Successfully complete Story mode.
Uchiha ItachiSuccessfully complete Sidequest 1.

- Sidequest 2
Instead of going south in Story mode to find Sai, go east, then northwest to find Shino. He will give you Sidequest 2.

- Exploration mode
Successfully complete Story mode to unlock Exploration mode.

- Sidequest 1
Instead of going south in Story mode to find Sai, go east to begin Sidequest 1.
