Take the path that begins with the 'Falco To The Fore!' mission.

- Play as James McCloud
Take the path that begins with the 'Dash Makes A Choice' mission. James McCloud does not appear until near the battle's ending.

- Key Of Destiny
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Key Of Destiny, which allows access to the different paths and endings.

- Play as Peppy Hare
Take the path that begins with the 'Andross's Legacy' mission.

- Alternate The Adventure Begins level
Successfully complete the game five times to unlock a more difficult version of The Adventure Begins level.

- WiFi ranking
While you are playing this game on WiFi, notice that there is a letter near your name. When you first begin playing on WiFi, the letter will be at Z. The letter represents your rank as a pilot, with 'Z' being the lowest rank and 'A' the highest rank. The only way to increase your rank is to collect the stars from enemy ships that have been destroyed. Each star gives you about 8 to 9%. When you reach 100%, your letter will go up to the next level. However, the only way for you to get all the experience from each star is to be in first place after each match. If you finish in second place, you will not get the experience.

- Easy Missile Jetstream win
Notice: You need a character that has a ship with lock-on ability. Charge your shots as you are flying through the beacons. As soon as the missile is able to be locked on to, fire and recharge. Two shots will usually do it.

- Alternate music
Successfully complete the game with all endings to hear music from Star Fox 64 at the title screen and main menu.

- One-hit kill lock-on shot
Notice: This trick requires a character with a lock-on ability. Keep the thing you use to aim on an enemy while locking-on. The square that appears around them will turn into a diamond. When you release the button to fire, the shot will kill them.

- Never miss barrel roll into ships
When you are at the end of a mission where you destroy the base, do a barrel roll before you go through the beacons. You will continue to infinitely do a barrel rolls as you go through the beacons and successfully destroy the ship.

- Flying behind opponent
When someone is following you in WiFi mode, immediately press Loop then immediately use the brakes. The other person will fly past, allowing you to get behind them.

- Hard mode
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Hard difficulty setting.

- Super Hard mode
Unlock all four endings to unlock the Super Hard difficulty setting.

- Play as Katt Monroe
Take the path that begins with the 'Pigmas's Revenge' mission.

- Gallery
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Gallery.

- Extra missile for the Great Fox
When you go to an enemy base or fleet, destroy all enemies on the radar before you collect the last enemy core. When you finish the stage and go back to the map you will get one missile for the Great Fox.

- Stealing stars
While playing in WiFi mode, after someone is shot down, fly through the star while rolling to collect it. This is a easy way to boost your stats.

- Overcomeing Death Crab
Wait for at least one of his claws to open then begin shooting them. Do not lock-on because they will probably hit a different part of his body. Once he screams 'No!' and flies into the air, you must destroy all his legs and his claws. Locking-on can be done, but it is not recommended. When all his legs and claws are gone, his mouth will open. Shoot it until he dies. Notice: Shooting the eyes can also be done because he attacks with them, but they will return after awhile.


Choose someone with a lot of bombs. As soon as you begin, drop as many bombs as possible at the Death Crab. If you run out, go through the rings to get more. It is possibly to defeat the Death Crab in about one minute by doing this.
