- Getting good drafts after winning the Superbowl in Franchise mode
The downside to winning the Superbowl in Franchise mode is being 32nd in the draft. To avoid this, trade your draft picks for the draft picks of the team with the worst record just before the Week 6 trade deadline. The CPU will always accept. That team will usually finish in the bottom five in the NFL standings. Alternately, wait until Week 17, then turn off the trade deadline in the Franchise mode settings. Make the trade for a guaranteed First Overall pick, and then turn the deadline back on so no CPU teams can take advantage of it.

- 99 rating in all attributes in Superstar mode
Go to the Creation Zone, and select the 'Create New Player' option. When creating a player, make him a rookie, then select your desired team. When it is time to rate your player, set him to 99 in all attributes. When finished, go to Superstar mode, select 'Use Rookie As Superstar', and find your created player from the menu.
