In Chapter 2, Verse 3 or later, stand in front of the specified telephone in the plaza from Verse 3 while not in a fight, and enter one of the following codes to obtain the corresponding effect. The 'Weapons' phone is the left phone by the stairs. The 'Accessories' phone is on the right. The 'Characters' phone is the stand alone phone on the other end of the plaza. Notice: A certain number of Halos are required to activate the codes.

Bazillions Stand in front of the 'Weapon' phone, then push Up(4), Down(4), Left, Right, Left, Right, Triangle. This code requires 1 million Halos to activate.

- Alternate taunts

- Marking walls
While facing a wall that will display bullet holes when shot, keep pushed [Shoot], and Bayonetta will shoot the letter 'B' or a small heart into that wall.

- Alternate costumes
Successfully complete all chapters on the Normal difficulty. Load the cleared saved game file, then go to 'Gates Of Hell'. Enter the 'Rodin's Treasure' menu, and purchase the 'Super Mirror' for 100,000 Halos to get the Umbran Komachi (Kimono). The other alternate costumes (listed as 'Couture Bullets') will now be unlocked for purchase for 100,000 Halos. Notice: To change costumes, press R1 at the 'Chapter Begin' screen, then select the 'Costume Change' option. The following are the available costumes for purchase:

- Overcomeing Jeanne in Chapter 2
When the flashback battle at the begin of Chapter 2 begins and Jeanne jumps down, shoot her. She will block most of the bullets, but soon after she will crouch and fire her guns in a quarter-circle. During this time she is vulnerable and you can attack her, but it is recommended you just shoot and dodge her bullets. Once she is finished, her next attack will probably be a Wicked Weave. You can see it coming when a red circle appears under her. If you dodge her Wicked Weave, you will enter Witch Time. However, it does not last long, so try to use the time well. Either keep shooting her if you are too far away, or move close to perform a combo and deal a good amount of damage. There is a chance that Jeanne will try to move closer instead of using a Wicked Weave. If this happens, get some distance between the both of you by dodging. To get the most attacks in, always dodge towards her when dodging her bullets and Wicked Weave. Make sure you are in Witch Time before attacking.

- Practice mode
Keep pushed Select at the loading screen to lock it in Practice mode. Push Select again after the machine has completed loading to exit.

- Play as Jeanne
Get a 'Platinum' rank in all chapters on the Normal or higher difficulty to unlock Jeanne. Alternately, unlock the 'Eternal Marionette' accessory.

- Bonus gallery
Successfully complete the game to unlock the 'Bonus Gallery' option at the main menu, which allows access to the game's concept art, cutscenes, and other extras.
