GGXX Slash and #Reload stages
Unlock all EX characters. The GGXX Slash stages will then gradually become unlocked over time after 48 hours of game play. After a stage has become unlocked, you can also access the #Reload version of it by keep pusheding R2 (Respect) while selecting the stage and music.

Play as Guilty Gear Generations characters
Accumulate 48 hours of game play to unlock the Guilty Gear Generations character versions.
Notice: Hours can easily be accumulated while the game is left idle in Training mode.

Play as Gold characters
Accumulate 48 hours of game play. Then at the character selection screen, change the color mode to Slash and choose your character with Dust.
Notice: This can also be done with EX characters. Hours can easily be accumulated while the game is left idle in Training mode.

Play as Shadow characters
Accumulate 48 hours of game play. Then at the character selection screen, change the color mode to Reload and choose your character with Dust.

Special illustrations
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding special illustration at the 'Gallery' menu:

| Special Illustration 8 | Unlock all arcade ending art. |
| Special Illustration 2 through 5 | Successfully complete Survival level 500. |

EX Ending art
Successfully complete Arcade mode with an EX character to unlock their corresponding artwork.

Fight against Boss Order Sol
Successfully complete Arcade mode without losing any rounds.

Play as EX characters
Overcome the Shadow version of a character in Survival mode. Then at the character selection screen, highlight that character and press Plus. Alternately, an EX character will be unlocked every hour after 48 hours of accumulated game play, begining with Potemkin in the same order as Survival mode.
