- Avatar Awards
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding Avatar Award:

Sonic costume (body)	Acquire seven Chaos Emeralds, then defeat the final Boss again.
Sonic costume (head)	Acquire all rings during the final stage's ending.

- Easy 'Ring Acquireor' achievement


- Bonus levels and Chaos Emeralds
Successfully complete a level with 50 rings, and a giant ring will appear behind the end sign. Jump into the giant ring to advance to a bonus level. A Chaos Emerald will be at the end of all bonus levels.

- Always get a jackpot
Enter a slot machine as Super Sonic to always get a jackpot.

- Infinite lives
Play the Casino Street Zone. Run through the level, and activate the slot machines to get extra lives. Once you get the desired number of lives, pause the game, and leave the level to save those lives. When you want more lives, rebegin the level, and repeat the process as many times as desired.

- Play as Super Sonic
Acquire all seven Chaos Emeralds. Then, enter any level, and collect 50 rings to be able to transform into Super Sonic.

- Alternate ending poses
During the ending sequence, collect all the rings, and Sonic will do his fist pump pose from Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 ending sequence, or turn into Super Sonic if you also have all seven Chaos Emeralds.

- Achievements
Do the following things to obtain the corresponding Gamerscore points:

5 Points
The Story Begins	Clear Splash Hill Zone, Act 1.
The First Chaos Emerald	Acquire a Chaos Emerald.
Crush Dr. Eggman	Overcome a boss for the first time.
10 Points
All Stages Cleared!	Overcome the final boss and view the ending.
Enemy Hunter	Overcome 1,000 enemies.
Golden Flash	Clear all Acts as Super Sonic.
Contender	Send your recorded scores and clear times for all stages.
15 Points
Ring Acquireor	Acquire all the Rings in 'Special Stage 1' and Clear the stage.
25 Points
Immortal	Build up 99 or more extra lives.
30 Points
Super Sonic Genesis	Acquire all seven Chaos Emeralds.
35 Points
Speed's My Game	Clear Splash Hill Zone Act 1 in less than a minute.
40 Points
Untouchable	Clear the E.G.G. Station Zone without taking any damage.

- Alternate ending and Episode 2 preview
Acquire all seven Chaos Emeralds in the Special Stages to unlock an alternate ending and Episode 2 preview.
