Activating this trainer
Press F1 at main menu.
Listen for 'Trainer Activated'.
Press desired hotkey. All hotkeys can be changed on the trainer.
Trainer Options
Numpad 1: Capture Car Race
Numpad 2: Freeze Opponents
Numpad 3: Opponents Spin Out
Up Arrow: Super Speed
Down Arrow: Super Brakes
Numpad 4: Super Jump
Numpad 5: Instant Stop
Numpad 6: Capture Car Time Trial
Numpad 7: Capture Resource Points
Numpad 8: Add Resource Points
Notes
Numpad 1: Capture Car Race - you must press this option ONCE at the beginning
of the race to capture YOUR car so the other options will work correctly.
DO NOT use this at any other time. Also, this is for RACE events only.
It's best to do this just before the green light to start the race.
Numpad 2: Freeze Opponents - press this key and the trainer will freeze the
AI opponents for 10 seconds.
Numpad 3: Opponents Spin Out - press this key and the trainer will spin out
the AI opponents for 2 seconds.
Up Arrow: Super Speed - press this key while driving and your car will
accelerate very quickly. Please note that in PRO races, you can
basically blow your engine up in seconds, so use wisely.
Down Arrow: Super Brakes - press this key while driving and your car
will brake very quickly.
Numpad 4: Super Jump - press this key while driving and your car will
vault into the air.
Numpad 5: Instant Stop - press this key while driving and your car will
instantly stop in place.
Numpad 6: Capture Car Time Trial - you must press this option ONCE at the
beginning of the time trial to capture YOUR car so that the other
options will work correctly.
Numpad 7: Capture Resource Points - while LAPTOP is open, press this
to capture the current number of points.
Numpad 8: Add Resource Points - make sure you are at LAPTOP and have
used Capture Resource Points first, then press this to
add more.
Mute Hotkeys:
To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want
to mute to 'NONE'.
VR Mode
- HTC Vive
Click on the VR MODE button. Trainer options will now be drawn as buttons.
Activate the trainer as usual with your keyboard. Put your HTC Vive on and
when you are ingame press the MENU button on the hand controllers to open
the steam overlay. At the bottom you can click on the DESKTOP button and you
can easily press options on the trainer with your hand controller now.
- Oculus Rift
As of now the oculus has no unique input device and uses keyboard or xbox
controller. Both are support by the trainer already.
