Choosing your starting point is the most critical decision in any OpenFront match: aim for a large "pocket" with plenty of open space around it so you can expand without obstruction during your opening moves.At the same time, it pays to set up before other players do—latecomers tend to avoid already occupied areas, so getting there first gives you more room to maneuver exactly where it counts.
Don't expand faster than you can defend
Seizing territory at a breakneck pace early on might seem like a good idea, but it leaves your borders exposed just when a coordinated attack could do the most damage.It is better to gradually consolidate the territory you’ve already claimed—perhaps by establishing a few defensive outposts—than to chase after every unclaimed area on the map.
Keep an eye on the troop-to-worker ratio
