No limit to the number of action points Make sure that a Merc should make a longer journey than is allowed by its points-action. Watch the counter action points go down. When the action points are about to reach zero (not even zero), click with the right mouse button on the Merc to get it to rotate and to reveal three buttons. Click on the button 'reserve points', that will have to be unlocked previously. Then, click with the right mouse button on the Merc to push it back. The Merc will continue walking to the destination, ignoring the limit of action points. Duplicate the objects and Press [Alt] + S to save the game while in your sector. Then take an object from the inventory fast in the bottom of the screen and let it 'fly'. Press Alt + R to restart the game. The object will still be in your hands, place it where you want in the inventory. The you'll have duplicate.
