Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is now available on Switch 2 (and the rest of the platforms aren't left empty-handed).

From today, August 28, 2026, Elden Ring officially lands on Nintendo Switch 2 with the Tarnished Edition, which collects the base game released in February 2022 and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion from June 2024 in a single package designed for the new Nintendo console.

Those who already play on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC are not left out: the same extra content introduced on Switch 2 also arrives there via the Tarnished Pack, a separate DLC costing €4.99, available from the same date.It includes two new starting classes, new armor, and customization options for Torrent, the faithful spectral steed.

Patch 1.17, already available to download, prepares the technical groundwork for the package and brings with it some adjustments to combat balance.Honestly, four and a half years after the original release, still seeing unreleased content for Elden Ring says a lot about the longevity FromSoftware has managed to build around Middle-earth.

For those who have already faced Radagon and the Erdtree multiple times, two more classes and a few skins for Torrent won't completely change the experience—but in our opinion, at €4.99, it's still a fair price for those looking for a reason to return to Limgrave.
