The protagonist uses the apartment key to enter Ivan's block on the third floor and begin exploring the rooms.
In the third-floor living room, the protagonist locates an old book on the floor and reads the available pages to discover the clues needed to dissolve the sealing wax.
Exploring the apartment bathroom, the protagonist collects a heavy wrench from the bathtub, equips it from her inventory, and uses it to defend herself against the menacing creature.

Improvised weapons also count towards achievements. Collect the iron pipe (Classics Never Die), then try to defeat Fumus using only the pipe (Exhaust Pipe) and Obscuratus using only the wrench (Iron and Wax). Those who want to complete the entire adventure with only the wrench earn Wrench Queen, so decide whether to play this way before your first game. One player reports that switching weapons mid-fight is inconvenient because it has to be done from the inventory.
Stella Plena requires you to open all the star lockers, Devora requires you to find the 3 films, and De Relictis requires you to read everything. For Maybe He's In The Bathroom, knock on Iván's door 10 times, and for Thinking About Him, huh?, look at Iván's photo 5 times. The trickiest is Have You Chosen... Wisely?, which refills the silver bottle by removing three save points: abandon those saves only when you're sure.
With a Vorax nearby, move to another room before it explodes to unlock He Just Wanted a Hug. Against Carnitos, there are two opposing challenges: hitting three with one shot (Valiant Little Taylor) or defeating them without being touched (Butcheress). For The Two Stooges, you need to eliminate two enemies at once, but Carnitos don't count. Be careful with One More For The Road: Lavendoleum must be drunk when you're at full health, so don't waste it when you need to heal.
