- Menu cheats
- The screen of the combat between two characters, place the code combat 302 213. Then quit the match and go to the options menu. Now operates Versus Screen Enabled and hold Block + Run for 10 seconds. The following cheats are available now. Note: Only one of the cheats the following can be used for a time.
- The purpose
- Activate the option 'Endings' option from the menu cheating. Then, to see the end of a character, start a game in Arcade mode and defeat one character.
- Mortal kombat 1
- Enable the option 'Fatalities 1' from the menu cheating. Then,to finish off your opponent, hold down and press High Punch. This will use the character that you use his first fatality.
- Mortal kombat 2
- Enable the option 'Fatalities 2' from the menu cheating. Then to finish your opponent hold down and press High Punch. This will use the character who uses his second fatality.
- Mortal kombat level
- Enable the option to 'Level the Fatalities' from the menu cheating. Then to finish your opponent hold Down and press High Punch. This will make use to the character used his fatality level.
- Use Meat
- Enter 'Group Mode' and you finish the game with all 16 characters. Then, when you did, select a character and begin a fight. Now your character will be Meat with all the moves of the character you have chosen.
Use Goro
You finish the game with Shinnok. Then choose the invisible icon at the bottom of the selection screen. Now vaiSu(3 times) and left once to highlight the icon diShinnok, then press Run + Block.
- Play as Noob Songs
- You finish the game with Reiko. Then go into versus mode and enter the code combat 012 012. Quit fighting and go to screen selection characters. Now go To(2 times), and Left once to highlight the icon of Reiko, then press Run + Block.
- New weapon
- You finish the game with Kai Then start the game with Kai and his weapon will be the bracket of the lightning of Raiden.
- Look at the biographies
- Enter in Kombat Theatre', please highlight the desired character, and press Block.
- Change clothes
- Go into the screen to select the characters and click them to highlight a character. Then, hold Block and press a button to rotate the image. You have to rotate the image two times to operate the second costume, except for Sonya and Tanya. Their pictures must be rotated three times to operate their second costumes.
- Alternate weapon
- Go in the option of selection of the font, simply highlight a character and change the costume two times. (Block + a button 3 times). Now this character will have an alternate weapon.
- Code combat
- Enter the following codes in the screen of two characters.(when you see the two characters looking at each other in the face). You can see three displays at the bottom of the screen. The numbers, meaning the numbers of times that you press Low Punch, the second display for the key Block and the third for the button for the Low Kick.

- Note 1: During a fight, press Square + R1 to activate the Fatality 1. Press Triangle + R1 to mortal kombat 2. Press Up + R1 to activate the fatality of the paintings. Then use one of the fatality press Down and press the High Punch.
- Note 2: hold Up + Select to increase load time to 1 minute and 10 seconds. You can use this code to increase the time to put the Codes Fighting.
