Dune Awakening: Top 20 Cheats and Essential Strategies
Check out this handy guide to discover twenty essential strategies for Dune Awakening.Save precious time, resources, and Solari by leveraging vehicle tricks, farming tactics, and tips for surviving the sands of Arrakis.
Shield depends on Power Pack, not armor
Many players immediately invest in armor, thinking it will provide better protection, but shield strength is determined entirely by the equipped Power Pack, while the energy drain percentage determines how quickly the shield depletes under attack.Armor only matters after the shield has collapsed, or against attacks that directly bypass it, such as slow blade strikes or Drill Shots.
Use the Cutteray in two stages to gather more
Collecting resources isn't a simple tap: first activate Analysis Mode to locate the node's weak point, then switch to Fire Mode and cut along the highlighted line.Skipping the analysis phase and slashing randomly reduces the yield of the node; take a moment longer to get the right spot before slashing.
Short weapons interrupt slow ones
Short blades like the Kindjal and Dirk have a subtle advantage: they strike quickly enough to interrupt and parry slower weapons during enemy combos, a mechanic that gives foil or short blade users a real edge against heavy sword wielders.Switch weapons based on who you're facing instead of sticking with a single blade type.
Don't ignore Journey missions
It's easy to jump right into tech research and neglect Journey objectives, but these missions gradually unlock the systems of base management, construction, and resource optimization that make later stages of the game more fluid.Completing them in the order they appear avoids falling behind on the game's systems.
Don't plant your base directly on sand
Building your first base on sandy ground is one of the most common mistakes in the early hours: the unstable ground makes it difficult to expand the structure later. It's better to look for a more solid foothold right away, even if it's slightly further away from immediate resources.
Take advantage of loot respawns in already-cleared dungeons
After clearing a dungeon for the first time, exit and stay near the entrance: after about thirty minutes, the loot will respawn, but the normal enemies won't (the main boss will still be present). This is a way to accumulate extra resources for yourself or your team without having to tackle the entire dungeon from scratch each time.
