In the first region you lead a trio with complementary rock-moving powers: one pushes, one pulls, and the third swaps places with whatever they're looking at. They sound like they should work in perfect harmony, but they often end up tripping over each other: plan the whole sequence of moves before acting with each character, rather than improvising one hero at a time.
Crossing the Mirror Isles you'll find a looking glass that can swap items, or yourself, with their reflection. It's how you reach platforms that are otherwise out of reach: try swapping with an object on the other side of the mirror before hunting for a physical path that often doesn't exist.
Beyond the main puzzles, the demo hides a 106th puzzle that no marker points you to. If you've already solved everything that looked visible, backtrack and check corners of the map you assumed were just scenery.
The developers built every area with a deliberate visual contrast: the ground you can walk on is lighter, the background stays dark. When a puzzle feels unreadable, it's not on you — look at where the brightness changes, that's where the real path is hiding.
Just like in the same director's earlier game Braid, you can rewind time to undo a bad move. Don't be afraid to experiment by pushing a block the wrong way — it only costs a few seconds of rewinding, not a game over.
