Movement is half the game: here you'll find the moves the game doesn't explain and the spots where the pencil truly changes the level.
Paperhead is a first-person shooter set in a cardboard world full of smiles, where something has gone wrong. With the magic pencil, a good shotgun and the strength of two boots, you try to understand why the cardboard bleeds.
Here you'll find the movement techniques that make the difference, from the slam by crouching in the air to the slide that launches enemies upward, and the ways to use the pencil to draw bombs or doors where there are none.
The page also explains how to unlock the most hidden objectives, from the barrel to kick against the giant cutout to the drawn button that must be erased first, and flags what to avoid in the controls settings. The game's trailer is included.

Watch this selection dedicated to the art of paper folding and discover useful ideas for creative projects. The video shows three fundamental techniques linked to the world of origami and artistic creations.
Crouch while in the air and the character plunges onto the enemy below you. A demo player admitted to having complained for months about the lack of a slam, without ever trying to crouch mid-air: the move has existed from the start. The crouch button is a single press, not a hold, and at the moment there is no option to change it.
If you slide under an enemy you kick them into the air. After a crouch the jump goes higher than normal. Players with long experience talk about trimping, edgebugging and jumps from the slide: movement techniques that give almost absurd control over momentum and direction. Watch out for melee enemies, who jump behind you even if you climb onto a platform: staying high doesn't keep you safe.
The pencil isn't just for opening doors: you can draw bombs and use them against enemies, or draw a door on a wall to open a passage where there wasn't one before. Explosive barrels are also a weapon, because they can be kicked at targets.
In level 1 reach the narrow passage, take the only explosive barrel in the level and kick it at the giant cardboard cutout of Handy. The objective unlocks as soon as the barrel hits.
In level 4, when you enter the battery room, use the pen to open the door at the top right on the right side.
Still in level 4, after taking the rifle and opening a door with the pen, go right. In a corner there is a drawn button: erase it, then press it and pet the 'dog'. Realizing the button has to be erased first is the step that wastes the most time.
The objectives for Super Bandage Boy and PROFI require unlocking the two characters, while R U MAD??? is earned by finishing the game with Super Bandage Boy: the player guide suggests a run with almost no hits taken. For ULTIMATE you must get the top ULTIMATE rank on any level.
The game lets you remap the controls, but if you move 'Interact' to another key you will no longer be able to close documents after opening them. After changing 'Interact', moreover, you can't assign other actions to the E key. Test it before entering the level.
