p>Section 9 Interactive and Epic Games Publishing have set the release date for *End of Abyss* for October 1, 2026, on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.The announcement was made at this year's Summer Game Fest, alongside the first in-depth gameplay video.

The game puts players in the shoes of Cel, a young combat technician sent to investigate a facility that has since been abandoned.Amidst ruined corridors and creatures that have lost all trace of humanity, the atmosphere leans into dark sci-fi horror—closer to a tense survival experience than a straightforward shooter—though, judging by the material released so far, combat remains a core element rather than a mere side feature. Pre-orders are already open across all digital platforms, and PlayStation Plus subscribers can take advantage of a 10% discount valid until launch day.It may not be a massive price cut, but for a title with such a distinctive setting, it could be enough to sway those who are still undecided. With only a few weeks left, and Section 9 Interactive having shown only carefully selected glimpses so far, it remains to be seen whether the rest of the game matches the level of detail found in the facility that serves as the backdrop for Cel's story. We at Apocanow will be back with tips and guides as soon as the game becomes available.
