p>In our previous report, we covered the arrival of *Halloween: The Game* on September 8th, featuring Michael Myers facing off against four survivors in Haddonfield. The game launched on schedule, but its post-launch journey hasn't been straightforward: IllFonic has already released two updates in just eleven days.

The latest, version 1.0.2 (update 1.010), arrived on September 11th and focuses on crashes and stability. It fixes a bug that caused the escape car repair prompt to disappear, another related to using the Fragile Hourglass on a downed Michael, and addresses various matchmaking issues reported during the opening days.

Initial reactions—from those who gained early access on September 4th via the Digital Deluxe edition—were lukewarm or even negative, citing erratic NPC pathfinding, unreliable objective tracking, and stamina mechanics in need of rebalancing. The Day One Patch on September 8th resolved many of these issues, and subsequent reviews—such as the one from JoBlo—have shifted to a positive verdict.

Meanwhile, IllFonic has also revealed the fourth map, East Haddonfield: it includes the countryside, a mill, silos, the Rabbit in Red Lounge, and Phelps' Garage—the area Michael traverses immediately after escaping the Smith's Grove Sanitarium. In short, those who were put off by the launch-day flaws now have another reason to return to Haddonfield.
