In our previous news, we reported that version 1.4 of Neverness to Everness, "For Whom the Verses Mourn," would arrive on September 30, featuring new characters Blackbird and Akane Rin. In the following days, more details emerged, and the picture of the update became clearer.
The most notable new feature is Pukaland, an area built like a real amusement park, which opens alongside a dedicated event scheduled from September 30 to November 11. On the narrative front, a new main story episode, "The Witch," arrives, accompanied by a side story titled "To Us, Back Then," which fills in some gaps in the past rather than advancing the current plot. Hethereau also expands with new Anomaly Commissions, missions dedicated to the city's most bizarre encounters.
The second collaboration with Porsche is also included: after the first vehicles arrived months ago, the game now adds the 911 Turbo (930) and the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package. Blackbird, a damage-focused Esper Psyche, will use Gas Arcs to block enemies before transforming into her Witch of Delusion form; Akane, an Esper Lakshana, transforms her guitar into a weapon capable of locking on to a single target for an extra burst before a full-blown solo.
The full patch notes in English have not yet been published: they will likely arrive only at launch, on September 30.
