HELLO NEIGHBOR

Hello Neighbor: tinyBuild Connect teases a new chapter (maybe a remake)

After the hacker attack on Secret Neighbor, tinyBuild strikes back with a cryptic teaser that reignites speculation about a return to the original neighbor's house.

Last time we checked in, a hacker had taken down Secret Neighbor, the multiplayer spin-off of Hello Neighbor, in early September, demanding it be pulled from every digital storefront. The franchise hasn't slowed down, though: tinyBuild Connect 2026 just aired a teaser that sent fans into a frenzy.

A few seconds of footage: a hand opens a drawer, someone shuts themselves inside a wardrobe, a finger presses the doorbell of a house that looks all too familiar. No title, no date, no official confirmation — but the staging echoes the original 2017 game so closely that much of the community has already dubbed it "the remake." TinyBuild, for now, isn't confirming or denying anything.

It wouldn't even be the only Hello Neighbor project in the works: Hello Neighbor 3, developed with Eerie Guest Studios, is already available in pre-alpha on Steam, and the studio recently announced new partnerships to expand the franchise beyond games. Hard to say whether the Connect teaser is a genuine remake, a prequel, or just recycled promo material to keep attention up while the third game takes shape.

As soon as tinyBuild breaks its silence, we'll be back with all the details.
