Square Enix is bringing the entire Kingdom Hearts saga, including the third chapter with Re Mind, to PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2 from October 8, 2026. Owners of the earlier games get a 50% discount.
Square Enix has officially announced Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], the bundle that brings together Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The release date is set for October 8, 2026.
Anyone wanting a taste before buying can already download a free Kingdom Hearts III demo on Switch 2: it covers the start of the game through the early stages of Olympus, the world inspired by Hercules, and the first half of the Toy Box World based on Toy Story. It's not thrown together just for show: save data from the Olympus section carries over automatically to the full game at launch.
On the price side, Square Enix has also thought about players who already invested in the saga: anyone who owns digital versions of the games on Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version), PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can get a 50% discount on both pre-orders and post-launch digital purchases, on Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Digital pre-orders on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S also come with 48 hours of early access, for both the Collection and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind on its own.
For anyone who left Sora's saga unfinished for years, it's a convenient chance to catch up on everything at once, instead of chasing down scattered versions across PS4 and Xbox One. We at apocanow will keep you posted on cheats and walkthroughs as soon as the Collection is out.
