Tenebris Somnia from New Blood Interactive arrives on 16 October: $24.99, 20% off at launch and a demo already downloadable on Steam and Xbox.
Tenebris Somnia comes out on 16 October 2026, a two-dimensional survival horror that mixes pixel art with live-action sequences featuring real, flesh-and-blood actors. The filmed scenes were shot in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with practical effects rather than computer ones. It is developed by Saibot Studios together with Argentine director Andrés Borghi and published by New Blood Interactive.
The story begins with a young woman who discovers nightmare creatures that have entered the real world and must work out where they come from before it is too late. You explore, solve puzzles and resources are scarce: against enemies you can choose whether to fight or avoid them, depending on how safe you feel.
The digital price is $24.99, with a 20% launch discount that brings the total to $19.99 for a limited period. Owners of Faith: The Unholy Trinity get a further reduction. Regional pricing is planned, especially for Latin America. On platforms it starts with PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Physical editions go through Lost in Cult, with prices between £29.99 and £59.99.
The game is not for minors: ESRB M for violence, blood and strong language, PEGI 18. The demo can already be downloaded on Steam and Xbox Series X|S, and in our opinion it is worth trying: the mix of pixel art and live footage is a gamble you only understand by playing it.
