Assassin's Creed Origins is a game of action-adventure stealth with a third-person perspective. Players complete missions — linear scenarios with set objectives — to progress through the story, earn experience points and acquire new skills. Outside of missions, players can roam freely in the open world on foot, on horseback, by camel or boat to explore locations, complete side missions and optional unlock weapons and equipment. Unlike previous games in the series there will be plenty of high structures to climb on and unlock areas of the map. The mode vision of the eagle, that allowed players to explore an area, highlighting enemies and objects, will be replaced by an eagle as a companion. Players can also tame the various predators that can serve as allies and assist them against the enemies. The game will also feature naval combat, underwater exploration and tombs back in the series.

Simply pass an arrow that is already nocked near a brazier or torch to light it instantly, without needing to craft fire arrows beforehand.The same principle applies to poison darts: throw them into a lit fire and they turn into a toxic cloud that poisons anyone nearby—useful for clearing out a camp undetected.
Don't dismount to gather loot
You can loot chests and bodies while remaining in the saddle, without getting off your horse.It might seem like a minor detail, but on a massive map like the Egyptian setting of *Origins*, it saves dozens of seconds every time you clear a camp or archaeological site, and keeps you ready to flee if things go wrong.
Use enemy bows instead of your main weapon
In camps, you can pick up and use bows dropped by guards; they deal more damage than the weapons you carry in the early game and save you from wasting your best arrows on minor targets.
Activate auto-pilot on horseback for long journeys
Set a custom waypoint on the map, mount your horse, hold down the sprint button to engage "cruise control" mode on the road, and let Bayek ride to the destination on his own.
You can check the map, manage your inventory, or simply enjoy the scenery while the game does the rest of the work.
