Tricks
- Easy health: call 911 and dial 2: the paramedic heals you for $1,000; then kill him to take it back.
- Easy money: at an ATM cause a traffic jam, wait for someone to withdraw and kill them while blocking the roads for the ambulance; take the money, move away and come back: it reappears. With the Jetmax code make the boat fall on a group of people. After Stevie's 30 thefts, deliver the cars to the South Bohan garage: Cognoscenti $9,000; Comet $6,000; NRG-900 $2,500; Sanchez $1,200; SuperGT $11,000; Turismo $11,000. Another Turismo can be taken by breaking the window of the Grotti dealership in Perseus.
- Tanks in Alderney: at the Tudor and Port Tudor intersection, near Gerald's prison, there are 9 tanks: steal one, block the roads and another appears: each explosion gives about $1,100. The Securicar too, when exploded, leaves about $1,000.
- Wanted level: start a mission, or save at home and sleep; leave the search circle and stop for 5 seconds. With 4 stars or fewer, look for a place with grass or sand.
- Repair: call a number in the phonebook (even 911) to restart a stopped vehicle; walking on a health pack in a car repairs the damage. Fast taxi: it takes you anywhere in under 10 seconds, even on a mission.
- Headshots: with auto-aim move the cursor onto the body and just before shooting move it slightly to the right. Hidden enemies: shoot the arm that is shooting. Tolls: pass with an emergency vehicle with sirens on, or on the motorcycle go through the small passage on the side.
- Call for Help: from a stopped police car press LB and choose "Ask for Help": 2 vans of cops arrive and fight for you (as long as you do not shoot anyone). Free ammo: get into a police raider (5 shotgun ammo) or reach Happiness Island for the carbine.
- Desert Eagle early: kill the Broker seller who keeps it equipped. M-4: in Easton, Algonquin, climb the Terminal stairs to the ditch, turn left between the buildings: in an orange bin there is the M-4.
Clothes and Vehicles
- Claude's clothes (GTA 3): kill Playboy X and take his penthouse: save and reload. Hidden T-shirt: on the Statue of Happiness, at the highest point reachable on foot (red rectangle). Snow mask: mission "Three Leaf Clover". Thong: in the Modo shop stab the cashier and climb on her body for about an hour of play.
- Hellfury: in the mission "Ruff Rider" shoot Jayvon and take the motorcycle to a parking lot. Marbelle: in the mission "Uncle Vlad", drive Vlad's car. Merit (silver): mission "First Date". PCJ 600 (red): mission "I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots, and Your Motorcycle". Black Stallion: mission "Escuela Of The Streets" (fail the mission to keep it). Laundromat Van: in "Hung Out To Dry" pass from behind (the mission fails).
