Bonus Cars
Defeat the indicated challenger in Career Mode:
- 1965 GTO: Speed King (Nate Denver). 1995 RX-7: Drift King (Aki Kimura). 2006 Mustang GT: Drag King (Karol Monroe). 2008 Evo X: Showdown King (Ryo Watanabe). 2008 M3 E92: Grip King (Ray Krieger).
Tricks
- Easy money: enter UNLOCKALLTHINGS, return to the main menu and reload the Career: in the garage you find a Nissan 240 SX, a modern Pontiac GTO, a Chevy Cobalt SS and a black Dodge Viper SRT 10. Sell them (about $90,000), save, reset the game, reload the saved career and repeat: the four cars are still in the garage. You can repeat it endlessly.
- Free repair marks: enter a Team King event: you receive 2 free marks; leave the Race Day and re-enter for 2 more, as many times as you like.
- Dragsters: the best one is the Nissan 240SX; as soon as you can use it and fit it with all the speed and traction accessories. When you set new records you will be invited to challenge Karol Monroe, the Drag King.
Defeating Ryo Watanabe
Bring the cars to Performance Level 4 and maximum Aerodynamics (you need many marks on the Race Day):
- Grip: Pagani Zonda (use a free car mark, also valid against the Grip King). Endurance: Ford Shelby GT500 or Chevrolet Chevelle SS (do not change the Chevelle's aerodynamics, also valid against the Grip King).
- Drift: BMW Z4 M Coupe (excellent for drifting despite the low stats, also valid against the Grip King) or the Mazda RX-7 won against the Drift King, which already has all the parts at Level 4: just raise the aerodynamics.
- Speed: Ford GT, also valid against the Speed King.
