Cheats and Secrets for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on WII

Introduction and Game Plot

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for Wii is the installment in the series with fighting, Krypt mode, and a large team of characters, here in the Wii version. This page collects the secrets to unlock, especially the arenas hidden in the Krypt. For each arena, you'll find the button combination to press on the box with the question mark, with variations for the Wii-Mote with Nunchuk and the Classic Controller, and alternatively, the way to obtain it by defeating a character in Conquest Mode. These are long and precise sequences, so it's handy to have them handy on the Krypt screen.

Konquest Mode Unlockables

Artika Arena: complete all seven trials in the Obelisk of Artika. The Krypt: collect all 60 Relic Items. 20,000 extra coins: 20 Relic Items.
Edenian Ruins and Scorpion's Lair: defeat the Giant Skull in Edenia, go into the corridor until the suits of armor appear and look inside the second (Ruins) or the third (Lair) suit of armor on the left.
Armor for Taven: the breastplate by defeating Sub-Zero in the Lin Kuei Palace; the gloves in the Netherrealm, in the area where you jump down after the glowing meteor falls from the sky.
Super moves: Escape = defeat Frost in the Lin Kuei Palace; Fireball = reach the fourth area of the Tekunin Warship; Ground Punch = defeat Jarek in the first training Obelisk; Stop Time = Red Dragon Cave, at the fork follow the path to the right toward the green light in the sky.
Alternate costumes (hidden chests): Ashrah = defeat the Ice Beast in Arctika; Baraka = kill everyone in the last room of the Warship; Cyrax = in the third room; Frost = destroy all the tombs along the wall in Frost's room; Fujin = defeat the Red Dragon Soldiers in the Scorched Mountains; Havik = defeat the demons in the second area of Shinnok's Spire; Jade = defeat the Lin Kuei at the start of the Palace; Kitana = Fatality on Wi Lae; Mileena = defeat her and hit the Ground Punch icon; Sindel = complete the Third Obelisk; Smoke = defeat Smoke; Shao Kahn = defeat the Shao Khan Statue; Sub-Zero = chest to the right of his mother's statue after defeating him.
Relic Items: 60 in total, left by the characters (for example Kabal's mask, Kitana's fan, Scorpion's spear, Nightwolf's axe, Raiden's hat).

Tricks

Easy money: in a 1v1 match or in Arcade defeat a normal fighter (not the bosses) with a Brutality Fatality and repeat. In 2v2 with your profile choose Reiko and use the Assassin Stars on player 2: little damage but a high combo; if you finish with a Fatality you get at least 1,300 coins per match.
Fatality in the Belltower: on the lower level of the Belltower Arena, when "Finish Him" appears perform a Super Slice away from the bell: the opponent falls onto a spike, has his legs and arms cut off and a rat steals a leg.
Extra damage in the Belltower: bring the opponent to the center of the lower level and use a Super Slice: he ends up in the bell and takes 10% damage; with a profile you get 50 coins.
Fatality in the Prison: in the Prison Arena, where Sektor closes the doors, perform a Super Slice at "Finish Him" while staying under the fan in the center: the opponent is thrown into the fan.

Creating Famous Characters

Adult Goku: male, medium or large size, Anime 2 hair, Karate torso (blue), Kung Fu pants (gold), Karate belt (white), Kung Fu shoes, Kaioken style. For DBZ Goku: Layered Gi torso (orange and blue), blue Slim Sash belt, blue and gold Mandarin shoes. Mystic Gohan: adult Goku with spiked hair.
Bruce Lee: small size, Bowl hair, torso none or tank top, Kung Fu pants, no belt.
Chun-Li: female, medium size, Double Bun hair, Mandarin torso, Kimono dress, Thong pants, Jump shoes, wristbands with spikes.
Cloud Strife: Anime 1 hair, S biker jacket, medium leather gloves, cargo pants, biker shoes; Soldier style, Devastator weapon with Katana stance.
Fiend Ryu: small size, Evil Undead face, ninja headgear, S cybernetic armor, ninja gloves, long ninja shoes, MK 1 mask; Ninjitsu style, Ninja Sword weapon.
Lara Croft: braided hair, vinyl tank, fingerless gloves, khaki shorts, wide leather belt, backpack and pistol holster.
