Completion Bonus
Complete the game and save when prompted: you create a file with a star icon and "EX New Game" appears. Starting a game in EX New Game mode the Grade Shop is available right away and you can buy "Battle Rank" for 50 grade points for an extra difficulty. By loading the saved file you access Nam Cobanda Island, to the northwest of the world map.

Secrets
- Vault password at Caer Bocram: after collecting the 3 clues in the old building, enter "Sun".
- Scholar title from Rita (Nam Cobanda Island): you must be able to reach Aurnin. Talk to Kowz at the desk to start the scene: Rita wants to take the doctorate test and you have to find 5 books: in Halure in the Major's House (bookcase); in Capua Torim in the Fortune's Market Headquarters (bookcase); in Heliord in the Investigation Room (left side); in Mantanic in the Inn (bookcase); in Aurnin in the Headquarters (Flynn's wardrobe). Then go back to Kowz: the quiz on the old Tales does not count, you get the title anyway.
- Alternate costumes: on Nam Cobanda Island, in the gymnasium, talk to the man along the path to start the sub-events: Estellise, Karol, Rita and Yuri get a costume title.
- Easy experience: in the Korgoth Sands, right after Mantiac, accumulate Holy and Dark Bottles. Recover health and TP at the Oasis Save Point, go north with the Holy Bottles until night, then use the Dark ones to attract monsters. Look for the starfish-shaped monster: each one defeated is worth 800 points (6-8 per night, 4,800-6,400 experience points).
- Easy grades (about 800 grades in 20 minutes): party with Rita, Raven, Estellise and a fourth character with the "Item Throw" skill. Leave only the arts Tidal Wave, Tempest and Holy Rain active. Put the item thrower on defense; for Rita and Estellise settings with Artes only, no items and no fatal strikes; for Raven the same without an upper limit. Equip Blue Dice on Raven and the thrower, Risky Ring on Rita and Estellise, the "Minimum Damage" skill, items for TP (Orange Gel), Hard or Very Hard difficulty. Outside Zaphias meet both the plant enemy and the mushroom one to have at least 6 enemies and keep the limit above 1.
- References: Rita's "Sword Whip" weapon recalls Ivy's Sword Whip in Soul Calibur 4; Estellise's "Mint's Cap" attack (synthesizable at the end of the game) recalls Mint from Tales Of Phantasia.
