Forza Motorsport 2 is Turn 10's racing game for Xbox 360. This page contains tips that use the game's rules to improve your car and your bank account. The first explains how to transform a 2WD into a 4WD by wearing out the tires and downshifting with the brakes pressed, another how to get plenty of money. These tips are especially useful for those who want to upgrade the cars in their collection without too much effort.

Tricks
Turn any 2WD into a 4WD: wear out the tires, do a burnout in the highest gear and, when the revs are in the red, downshift to first (one downshift is enough) while holding the brake: if done right you get all-wheel drive.
Infinite money (only if the game has not been updated through Xbox Live): choose a car, buy the second-to-last upgrade, reinstall the original part (a blue mark appears on the purchased part), select it and press RT + X while selling it: the mark moves to the last part, you receive the money for the last one and the purchased part stays. Repeatable. It does not work if you have already bought the best upgrade (it would be sold).
Easy money: bring any five Porsches up to level five. With the Chrysler ME-Four Twelve go to "Upgrades" and "Tires": the Perrell ones cost 50% less (about 17,000 CR); buy them and resell them for 21,000 CR.
Easy wins in Endurance races: sign up, hire the cheapest driver and in the difficulty settings turn on all the bonuses except the AI drivers' difficulty, which you set to Easy. Start the race and wait.
