- "Middle Constellation" Booster Pack (P46): when you buy a Booster Pack press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Circle.
- UMD Recon Scan: use a UMD with the "UMD Recon" to get a card: Burnout Dominator = Curse of Royal; Exit = Barrel Behind The Door; Final Fantasy = Defense Maiden; Madden NFL 08 = Gravekeeper's Chief; Marvel Ultimate Alliance = Zombie Master; Need For Speed: Most Wanted 5-1-0 = Piranha Army; SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs - Fireteam Bravo = Future Fusion; Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 = Steamroid; Transformers: The Game = Tenkabito Shien; Yu-Gi-Oh! - Sartorius: complete the game with Aster Phoenix as your partner.
- Free cards: there are cards on the ground and behind the walls of the map; some are bets: skip school and go where people bet.
- Infinite loop against Axel: put out a monster that negates effects of the same type (for example Cyber Phoenix): if the computer uses Blaze Accelerator or Tri-Blaze Accelerator and chooses that monster, the effect is negated and Axel does not destroy the Pyro monster: the loop lasts until you quit the game.
Booster Packs
- General shortcut: almost all of them also unlock by completing the game with all the characters at Level 1; many with 50% of the previous pack.
- P04-P09: 50% of P01-P06 (Time to Dress Up, Intermediate Spells, Intermediate Traps, It's Fusion Time, Expert Spells, Expert Traps).
- P10-P15 (Creaking Darkness, Dueling with Fire, Moving Waters, A Little Wind, Light from the Sky, Power of the Earth): unlock first the day Monday-Saturday or reach level 45. P16: 10% per day or 80% of P10-P15. P17: 24 different partners at Level 1 or level 45.
- Paired with: P18 Syrus (Machine Shield); P19 Alexis; P20 Chazz (Ojama Strike); P21 Aster; P22 Hassleberry (Dino Power); P23 Blair; P24 Jesse (Over the Rainbow); P25 (Make the Team) and P26 (Simple is Better): any character at Level 2 and 3.
- Minigames (or level 40): P27 minigame number 21 with 50,000 points; P28 ball throw with 100,000 points; P29 400 friends; P30 chess with 50,000 points; P31 class minigame down to the 50th floor underground.
- P32-P39: complete the game with 1-8 characters from Level 1 (or challenges 20-80%, or Sunday duels Red, Yellow and Blue, or the Champion); P40-P41: Level 2 and 3; P42 (Sadie): game with Seiko or 50 hours; P43 (Ms. Dorothy): game with Tome and 1,000 packs purchased; P44 (Champion); P47: Golden Egg; P48: 90% of all the cards.
